Join us on June 24th at Snooze in Lone Tree! Snooze chooses a non-profit organization to donate 10% of their sales for the day of their anniversary.  This year the Lone Tree location chose Covered! We are so honored to have been chosen and invite you to make a difference with us through pancakes!

"If you haven't heard of Snooze, we are a breakfast and brunch restaurant that not only serves up sustainably sourced good-for-you food, but we also believe that pancakes can change the world. We opened in 2006 in Denver, Colorado and have been growing to give back ever since. To give you a little bit of information about what Snooze does within the community - every location has funds provided to them each year to give back to our local communities. Each Snooze has a couple of non-profits that we partner with, that align with our values, that we provide in-kind donations for and work with on donation events and volunteer days. We also have special days where we give back a portion of sales to our chosen partners - for example, on each location's anniversary of their opening, we choose a partner and have a breakfast party where we give back 10% of sales. Snooze empowers every employee to volunteer by giving them 8 hours of paid volunteer time a year. We also give back on a global level, by donating .25 cents from every Pancake of the Moment to our national partners: Young Farmer's Coalition, The Trevor Project, World Centra Kitchen.

Join us for our ribbon cutting ceremony on February 27th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at our Care and Education Center in Parker. Light refreshments will be provided. This ribbon cutting is to celebrate the opening of our second safe home for survivors immediately leaving crisis situations.

Covered Colorado is hosting free interactive experiences in our Care and Education Center!  This experience is a unique way to learn more about what we are doing for survivors in our community and to understand trafficking through the eyes of a survivor.  The experience is great for groups if you have co-workers, friends and/or family who are also interested in visiting.

Join us for a free session of Trafficking Education & Awareness where you will learn more about how to get involved in the fight against human trafficking. You will also have the opportunity to tour the Covered office where some of our important work happens!

The Hope Collective is a survivor art show featuring art work from trafficking survivors and will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at the Lone Tree Arts Center.

Art is one of the many forms of therapy used in our program. This is one way for survivors to heal. We want to share what we do in our program and we want you to be a part of it!

There will also be artwork from survivors that we will be auctioning off! You don’t want to miss this!

Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages people to give back in whatever ways they can. Nonprofits are helped tremendously when the community gives back. We are grateful for the support and generosity of that choose Covered on this special day. All End of Year Giving between October 1st and Dec 31st will go towards operating expenses for Covered House. “Finding Home” event for 1 day only! Here is your chance to pick up some great Holiday gifts. Covered will be selling Survivor created Christmas ornaments as well as the debut of our Covered House Sponsor cards.

This years ornament is a beautiful painted image of “Finding Home”. A Covered graduate created the painting of her vision of what it means to find home, a place of joy and peace. Already packaged for gift giving!

What is a Sponsor Card? These will make great gifts for family, friends, and coworkers. Sponsor cards will be availaible in various amounts for a variety of things such as paper goods or groceries for Covered House or to sponsor Birthdays for the month. What a fun, unique way to give while giving back. Printed cards with envelopes will be provided for you to give!
